“Serial killer pig farmer guilty of murder” CNN.com
This article was about a Canadian pig farmer that was charged of 26 murders, all women. The remains of some of the women were found on his farm. The article said that he will be in prison for life. This man told an undercover police officer that he was planning on killing more women to make it an even 50 murders.
I think this article is very disturbing, it totally discussing that there are people like this living in our world. I don’t understand why someone like this man would ever want to ever do something like this. It’s weird to think that there could be people walking around right now that are doing things similar to this man.
The Importance of Flex when Buying Skis http://skiing.lifetips.com/
This article is about what types of skis fit you the best. There are skis for people who ski hard packed snow and ski downhill. But there are also skis for people who ski powder and the moguls.
I like this article because it is true. I ski the powder and the moguls so I like the skis that are less stiff. My skis are the K2 public enemy and they rock! They work really well for powder and for moguls.
“If you haven’t found something strange during the day, it hasn’t been much of a day” This quote was written by John A. Wheeler.
I agree with his quote because I know that when I don’t see anything interesting during the day my day feels incomplete. I also think that everyday something strange, funny, or interesting happens to everyone everyday. Although every quote means something to me this particular quote caught my attention because even though I don’t always find something interesting I know that I can look at some of the quotes and find my interesting, strange or funny thing of the day.
Guatemala's Congress has passed a new bill that it hopes will tighten adoption rules in the country. The new law will eliminate mediators, create a federal adoption agency and prohibit birth parents from receiving financial compensation. The government has been under pressure to curb a controversial trade where intermediaries are paid up to $40,000 (£19,600) to arrange an adoption. Almost 5,000 Guatemalan babies were adopted by foreigners in 2006. birth mothers to sell their babies for profit, and some adoptive parent are worried about this. the US state department warned American citizens to avoid Guatemalan adoptions entirely until the process was better regulated.
I think that this is a bad move because little kids who are up for adoption will have to wait longer for a family and the parents might not adopt because it takes too long to. They might lose interest and blow it off because for the reasons that it will take longer. But this is also good because some sexual predators or a criminal won’t get it any better just worse and that shows that there protecting them. Why would you sell your babies for profit that’s so bad you must be dispirit for cash
"The Tongue-Eating Louse/A revolting-but-true fish story" By Joe Kissell. The fishbowl.
This story is kind of intresting because a dotor tell his way of getting louse out of people's hair.He say he shave off half of the person's hair, Then burn the other half. When the louse run's over the shave side, the dotor stabbs the louse with an ice pick.
If the dotor tried to do that to me, you can bet I'm runnig out of the biulding like a crazy man.
National Lacrosse League, union reach 7-year agreement ESPN.com news services
I read about a new 7 year plan for the national lacrosse league and it's about reaching barganing deals and barganing of players and barganing with players.
I think that this new deal that they have made will help the whole lacrosse league with trading players and helps them pay the lacrosse players. It will also will help the whole national lacrosse league and accosiation
I read a article for FoxNews called Dunkin Donut Worker Beats Theif with Coffee Mug and it was about a man who came in to a dunken store and tryed to take the money from the cashier the Dunkin Donut worker reached across the counter and grabed his wrist and knocked him over the head with the tip mug. The worker said he was more worried about what the film would show him running in the office and hiding or him doing what he did hitting him over the head. The man got away with 90 dollars and the police are doing all they can tp track him down
In Elmwood Park, NJ, a man attempting to rob a Dunkin’ Donuts. While the man was attempting to steal from the cash register Dunkin’ Donuts Employee beats the thief with a ceramic coffee mug but the employee was less worried about stolen cash, he was more worried on how he looks like on YouTube.
I think that is a hilarious story, you don’t come across too many stories like that now-a-days. I also thought that the Dunkin’ Donuts employee was very courageous in this act of self-defense, though the man ran off with $90 he left behind a baseball cap that can be used for DNA tests to find him.
This article is about a guy who was thinking about interviews and he went to a interview. He got nervous when he went in. He says that even the shy can be really good at interviews. He did a interview by phone and he had a phone phobia so he looked up some facts on the girl he was interviewing. He went to her site and Googled her to learn about her. He got a article about phone tactics and the best one was be prepared for the instant interview.
My opinion on this is I think its true that you can still be good at interviewing if your shy or you have stage fright. I don’t think doing an interview on a phone would be that bad but I don’t have a phone phobia. I would rather do a phone interview then meet the person in real life because it would be easier for me to talk to her.
An SUV crashed into a restaurant just before the lunch hour today. It happened at the Souper Salad at 8936 W. Bowles Ave. in Jefferson County No one in the resteraunt was injured. My article was about a man named Dustin Hoffmann who beat up a thief at a Dunken Doughnuts store while the thife tryed to take money from the rgistere. The thife ran away with $90.
I think this thife is a idiot he got in trouble with the law and for nothing.
In Oklahoma City there weather is treacherous storm. Carrying ice snow and cold temperatures. As many as a million homes are without power. By later Friday another storm could be coming bringing 2-4 inches of snow. Ice is up to 1 1/2 inches on lawns and most of the grassy plains. As many as 27 people have died.
I think that is a very bad storm. Although it would kind of be fun because then you would be out of school. I feel so bad for those families who have lost someone in this storm.

Oil prices are rising very dramatically, because from September the price per barrel was $57.80 to $57.10. Now at the end of October in hit a record high of $95 per barrel. Since the dollar is getting lower they suspect the barrel will be worth $147 in the next eight months.
I was guessing this would happen because all the cars and machineries that takes high gasoline power and low mpg. The world has limited resource. We should save the world by being less dependent on its resources

Emiratis jailed for raping youth
BBC news
A court in Dubai has jailed two men for 15 years for the abduction and sexual assault of a 15-year-old French-Swiss boy.
The men took the teenager to the desert and raped him at knifepoint.
I think this is wrong and they should be put in jail because the shoulndt take teenagers to desserts and rape them thats just wrong.
